While we have a hard time limiting our list of fun activities to just ten, we’ve done the best we could and included a variety of events that provide something for everyone. We hope you’ll enjoy!
- Visit the Children’s Museum of Indianapolis, the world’s largest children’s museum. The museum features plenty of exhibits that a child could virtually spend all day at.
- If you have animal lovers in the family, you can’t go wrong by checking out the Indianapolis Zoo. From dolphins to elephants to tigers, there’s a plethora of different animals for you to be amused by.
- If you’re a fan of racing, we highly recommend the Indianapolis Motor Speedway Museum. They have plenty of classic cars and memorabilia from racing over the years.
- For the baseball fans, we recommend going to an Indianapolis Indians game at Victory Field. It’s a beautiful stadium that’s ranked as one of the best in all of the minor leagues.
- Check out the Rhythm Discovery Center. At the Rhythm Discovery Center, children will get to be able to play with a large variety of instruments from around the world.
- One of the most unique attractions is Connor Prairie. Connor Prairie is an acclaimed history destination with several themed areas, one of which will let you have the opportunity to ride a hot air balloon.
- Watch a movie at the IMAX Theater. This three-story screen offers family-friendly movies and exclusive IMAX features all year round.
- For the history lovers of the family, we recommend the Indiana State Museum. It features plenty of exhibits, one of which is the popular Natural Disaster exhibit that teaches about all kinds of natural disasters.
- Another interesting attraction is the Indianapolis Art Center. Not only will you get to view plenty of interesting artwork, but you’ll also have the opportunity to take a variety of art classes as well.
- A fun novelty choice is Glow Golf, which you can find in the Circle Center Mall. It’s an indoor putt-putt course that has the attraction of allowing you to play glow-in-the-dark golf.
